The Historic Preservation & Design Commission is comprised of nine members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council created to review all applications for building permits for work to the exterior of buildings, and all sign permits for properties located in the Downtown Historic District to ensure that the historic integrity of the district is retained. In addition, the commission reviews all applications for Local Historic Landmark designation.
Meetings are held on the 4th Friday of the month at noon in Council Chambers at Seguin City Hall.
